Janelle Gregory, a Physician Assistant, comes to CovenantMD with over 25 years’ experience in family medicine.

Janelle was born and raised on a farm in East Berlin, PA, the fourth of five children.  From a young age, she was taught the importance of both hard work and family.  During her middle and high school years, her brothers got her involved in raising and showing beef cattle.  She was also involved in music while in high school and played the flute for many years.

Janelle graduated cum laude from Alderson-Broaddus College in Philippi, WV with a bachelor’s degree in Medical Science.  She completed some of her clinical rotations in Winchester, VA, before her love of Lancaster County brought her to back to Pennsylvania.  She worked at Family Health Center in Leola for eight years, then as an Advanced Practice Provider with Wellspan Family Medicine in West Cornwall, where she consistently received top scores on patient satisfaction surveys.

She and her husband Gordon met in college (where she says she rescued him from the hills of West Virginia!) and have 3 children, one daughter and two sons. They have enjoyed supporting their children’s activities, including their daughter’s music performances in orchestra, choir and marching band, and their son’s baseball games and golf matches. In her free time, she enjoys scrapbooking and spending time with friends and family, especially while also enjoying a good cup of coffee!

Janelle is certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
